SH58X Expandable Top Case (Carbon Fiber)

This top case has been an incredible addition to my motorcycle! It offers ample storage space for my trips, from my helmet to my personal belongings. The installation was simple and it fits perfectly with the design of my bike. Additionally, the build quality is excellent, weatherproof, and very secure. I highly recommend it!

Very solid, should outlast my current bike. Installation was easy thanks to the well designed mounting plate. Very large when fully expanded, and compact when not. Love it!

This is a well-made product and easy to install. Installation was pretty straightforward and hardware for just about any type of install is provided. Spare parts seem readily available if required. Once installed it takes just seconds to remove and the carry handle means it can be easily carried inside. Five stars; would definitely recommend.

I've had the same "adventure style" top case on my bikes for many years, It was huge and boxy and not really fitting in on my newer sport touring R1200RT. My second biggest complaint was the fact i always had to unlock the stupid thing each time i wanted to get into it. Also, the mounting system and case always seemed to rattle a lot. I was in the market for a new case and found the SHAD SH58X expandable top case. While space was not really my issue, i always wanted to be able to reduce the footprint when i didn't have much and expand it up to the size i need for my trip. The SH58X solves all my issues. It looks great, well constructed , can keep it unlocked when needed, has a very sturdy mounting system, and can change volume based on my trips. I ordered the case with the backrest and mounting plate for my RT1200RT (i did separate reviews for those). Everything came together nicely and am very happy with my purchase. 90 percent of the time i keep it in the smallest size and love the fact i can expand as needed.
